BBC Radio Scotland
Robbie Shepherd presents two programmes on Radio Scotland each week featuring featuring the best in traditional and contemporary Scottish music. “Take the Floor” is transmitted each Saturday evening and is repeated on Sunday afternoons.

BBC Radio nan Gaidheal
Gaelic broadcasting. Tune into Morag MacDonald’s programme, A’ Mire ri Mòr, every weekday morning for traditional music and chat.

Oban FM
A community radio station, based in Oban, and broadcasting to much of North Argyll in the Highlands of Scotland.

Isles FM
A mix of rising local talent, international artistes, informal chat shows and news broadcasting from Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.

Nevis Radio
A community oriented music and information station based in Fort William.

North East Community Radio
Based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. Each night from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, NECR airs its very popular “Ceilidh Hour”, featuring the best Scottish traditional music and song.

Moray Firth Radio
Join Ben and John “the Prof” for All Scottish every Thursday evening from 7.00pm to 10.00pm on Moray Firth Radio 1107AM, MFR Digital on DAB and online at www.mfr.co.uk.

Magazine

Box and Fiddle
Published monthly, the Box and Fiddle magazine contains articles and features from the Scottish Dance Band world and the Folk Music scene. As the magazine of The National Association of Accordion and Fiddle Clubs (NAAFC), it also reports on the activities of the accordion & fiddle club network throughout Scotland and Northern England.

PPL
Phonographic Performance Ltd (PPL) collects licence fees from broadcast and public performance users on behalf of record companies and distributes this revenue to company members and to performers.

PRS for Music
A society of songwriters, composers and music publishers. The society licenses organisations to play, perform or make available copyright music on behalf of its members and those of overseas societies, distributing the royalties to them fairly and efficiently. It promotes and protects the value of copyright.
